I'm a Happy Man!

After having tried every publishing management system out there for years (in fact, when I was working at larger publishing houses, we even did our own system from scratch), I have finally found a system that is everything I needed: online, simple, clear, yet powerful. And best one of all: no more 2-hour status meetings! Yes, no more 2-hour status meetings!

Planning my workload is a breeze now.

The Appingo system is easy to use and navigate, intuitive, and very organized. As a person who thrives on to-do lists and color-codes her children's toy bins (no, my pantry isn't alphabetized, but I've thought about it!), you can't imagine how thrilled I was to have projects clearly presented, with all the steps of the process mapped out. There's no guessing. Planning my workload is a breeze now.

It allows a company to function in their preferred style

The team at Appingo has embraced the challenge and they have created a physical system that facilitates change, but even more important, this system does not demand change. It allows a company to function in their preferred style. Some publishers still work from paper manuscript while others work entirely with electronic files, but either way, I can still easily communicate, schedule, and keep track of production changes by using the Appingo system.

We're happy, and so are our advertisers.

Since starting to use Appingo, we've been able to cut 11 days off our normal 40-day production schedule. We're happy, and so are our advertisers!

Go Appingo!

I'm delighted with Appingo (and for telling me Appingo already had a file with the name I was originally using; very smart).

Luise Erdmann - Editor

Appingo has great people too!

We are so happy to be Appingo team members. Our role of indexing is made easier by the Appingo system. From getting the initial project assignment and deadline, to retrieving the book files, to sending the completed index, to submitting the invoice - the Appingo system keeps track of things every step of the way. And Appingo has great people to work with, too.

Having Balance

I can't tell you how much I appreciate that your system enables me to work from home at convenient hours for me. It helps so much to be able to balance my work and my family commitments (and even upload my files in the middle of the night!).

Copy editor/Proofreader

Allows us to keep our sights on the work...and bottom line

We have used the Appingo project management system since the day we opened our doors. We have found the system to be elegant, comprehensive, and easy to learn and use. The training was superior, and the support has been immediate. Appingo has managed to build a system where service providers, publishers and users can interact efficiently without wasting time. And to make it even better, its scalability and flexibility allows us to change our workflows without losing sight of the work - or the bottom line.

Proud to recommend Appingo!

We use Appingo with our clients in all areas, and our team members all love it. Not just our own staff, but the companies we work with, are delighted to work in the Appingo system. That's the greatest compliment of all: when a client buys in to a vendor system, that's proof positive that the tool itself is a value add. We are proud to recommend Appingo to everyone we work with.

This is the software I wish I built!

This is the software I've wanted to bring to publishing for the last 4 years. This is where I saw the biggest return on investment for publishing systems - if only someone would build it! I became very excited when I ran into Appingo and saw the system was so close to what I was looking for - and I was very pleasantly surprised that it was so affordable. It is a no-brainer for the cash strapped publishing industry.
